2015

Tomorrow is the last day of 2014, which means we are going into 2015 very soon. This year has passed so fast honestly but it also felt like I've done a lot this year as well. Running marathon, donating blood, removing wisdom tooth, passing the driving practical test, running and deciding on a university to continue after graduation next year.I've done quite a lot of thinking as well throughout this year. A lot of happenings got on my nerves every other days. A lot of things seem different and have changed, yet a lot of things still seem to be the same. Some times I wonder if it would be better just to grow old with pets rather than with humans. Because pets are easier to take care of than humans. I don't have to think what to cook for my pet for its meals since there's pet food. I don't have to worry about loyalty and judgements. There are tons of things that I don't have to worry about being with pets than humans. Of course there are some things that human can give while pets cannot. I can feel myself changing, especially much of my thinkings. What I felt was very important and necessary in the past, doesn't seems the same anymore. It used to be very hard for me to let go of people who have left. I used to wonder what is it that parents really want from their off-springs. Just recently, I finally realised what they want. And I've decided to let go of those whom I should stop thinking about. Don't ask me how; I think it defers between people and I cannot explain why either. I'm thankful to myself to have changed for the better, as well as the people around me who made me think. Thank you for helping me grow up in 2014 and I look forward to 2015. Confident

Yeap, ever since I've cultivated a habit to go to the gym to run, I've started to be more confident of myself, and more importantly, of my body.I was never confident of my own body, before or after the weight loss. After the weight loss, I felt good for a moment but it was never enough. Because my lower body is still filled with fats, especially tummy and thighs. I swear they are every I came across an article on facebook a few days ago, the title was talking about Sistar's Soyu being very confident of her body. I mean like why not? If I have her body, I'll be like strutting and flaunting it all around. Because why not? Her body is to die for. Unfortunately no, I don't have her body sadly. Anyways, that article really motivated and inspired me, although our exercise routines are totally different. She lifts while I run. But I guess I'll just make do with running because I really have zero interest in lifting. HAHAHA But it's okay, I've decided to join muay thai during university so I can further tone my legs. I'll be waiting to see the end results after 2 years muahaha. Honestly, I've never felt even better of myself in 19 years of my life. Now I'm thankful to myself, to being able to start running, turn running into a habit and anticipating to run now. I remember during the previous stay over with my clique, when Weiting and I were walking to Jingwen's house and talking about how we would love to live at Lakeside because we can run along the river at Lakeside. That's like more than 5km, I think? Then Weiting started to say that she came to run with Shiling the last time and that I rejected the offer immediately when she asked me that time. I was like oh well, that was like 2 or 3 years ago? I don't even like to exercise at that time HAHAHA. And now, 3 years later, I'll be the first to suggest or agree to such activities. Thanks to myself changing for the better and feeling better. :) Hate

From the bottom of my heart, I agree this emotion called hate is very hurtful. I don't like to be hated nor to hate someone honestly. But seriously I really think I'm gonna explode soon.
Although they are very minor stuff that happens every single freaking day, but they collate into something much worse together to me. I'm someone who observes very keenly towards human interactions. Although I can't 100% know what is it that certain body and facial reactions mean, but I am able to detect majority of it. So I know to stop disturbing when I see signs of irritation on faces. And the other thing is I made 100% sure to not to anything that I hate being done to me. Simply because of this saying: Don't do unto others what you don't want other to do unto you.
It's not about thinking in others' shoes or whatever bullshit. But it's honestly just about myself. Because it's really fucking irritating to deal with a bitch who does something that gets on your nerve every single fucking day for 3 fucking years. I've honestly, never ever dealt with someone like that in my entire life. How is it even possible someone like her exists in this world and I just have to meet her in my life? Asking stupid questions every single day, doing unreasonable actions every single day and doing unforgivable actions every once in a short while.
I'm not some absolute encyclopedia nor am I some absolute answer sheet. Even if I am, what's the point of asking me when you obviously don't trust me? For the sake of pissing me off? If I want to eat, I will eat. You don't need to put food in front of me and try to force it in my mouth when I don't fucking want to eat it. And I don't get why you have to do something that ridiculous this morning. Like what the fuck? Do I look like some dog or pet to you? I fucking hate it the most when someone touches my face, and especially my forehead. Only my mom or people close to me can touch it. What fucking rights do you think a bitch like you have, to even rub my forehead for fucking fun?
In the first place, you don't mess with people's faces for fun, you get it bitch? And the next thing. You were the one who asked me if I want to go to hilltop and read or slack. So we went. I grabbed a book to read. So I don't get it why you have to say that I keep reading to Miza. Like DUH, I wanted to read. So I read. What's your fucking problem with that? Do I have to entertain your stupidness? I'd very much prefer to read in peace than to even look at you. Because just looking at you pisses me off already.
Then you said I hate you. Yeah, obviously I do. Like you don't fucking say bitch. I think it's miracle enough that I haven't shouted in your face yet. You have no fucking idea how much tolerance you have trained out of me. Thank you for that, but I'm honestly running out of tolerance already.
You better pray hard that you don't piss me off again like you did today. Because the first thing I'd do is to shout fuck you in your face. And you better hope that my hand reflexes are slow. Because I'm afraid my hand will move faster than my mouth does.
day 23 to 35!

Time really flies man! Today is the start of my last sem in poly, another 3 to 4 months to graduation already! It felt like I just joined SP not long ago though.. HAHAHAAnyways, my fit challenge journey has been going well, in fact I think it has became better. Before school started, I made it a routine to gym for 6 days every week and each day I'd run off 400+ cals on the treadmill and then work out on my abs and arms. I'm trying my best to maintain this routine even when school starts of course. I just went down for a 9km run, the longest I've ever ran yet, even though I couldn't make it for the gym because my friend and my class timings couldn't match :( But I'll still go gym whenever I can, and if I can't then I'll just go down for an hour long of running! I guess I finally started to like running somehow now. :P Day 17 to 22!

Been a while since I last posted about my fit challenge and definitely, it has been going well, or maybe even better than before. Woots!First of all, I'm not going to write what I did everyday at the gym anymore because they are all basically almost the same everyday, but what I can say is what I have started to change in my gym routine. In the first 10 plus day of my challenge, I was more determined to train for 2.4km run so on the treadmill I'll set a higher incline and do lots of resistance training as well as intervals until I reach 300 calories burned. And these all uses my calves which in the end sore out very fast when I was on the treadmill and honestly the feeling always make me wanna give up half way through. It was only like until yesterday that when I was sorting out my saved tabs that I came across some articles favorited by myself about exercises and diets. There was one article about slimming down your calves and thighs and how to know if your thighs are big because of fats or muscles. Mine was big because of fats, sadly. HAHA. Anyways, one definite thing to do is to do endurance running instead of resistance running. Because endurance running doesn't really impacts your calves, meaning that your calve muscles won't be used that much and so, wouldn't become too big due to more muscles formed. But at the same time, endurance running tones and shapes your calves into a thinner and better shape. Another thing is that we often think that if I spam do 100 sit-ups, crunches, push-ups or any other muscle-developing exercises, we'll convert our fats into muscles, or we'll get muscles out very fast if we maintain it in the long run. No. Firstly, fats cannot convert into muscles, neither will muscles turn into fats. The most most important thing to always keep in mind is that: Fats cover up your muscles in the body. Of course, when you do your muscle exercises, your muscles will definitely be toned and will become bigger in time. But on the outside, you wouldn't see your abs forming or you may look fatter instead because of your body fats. We all have muscles and abs. Just that they are covered by fats. So the thing is to get rid of those fats. And that is what I am trying to do at this point of time. So for these 5 days I've been spending more time at the gym, around one and a half to two hours, doing endurance running and muscle exercises. Usually it would be around 50 to 60 minutes of endurance running on the treadmill and if I felt like it, 30 or 60 minutes on the elliptical trainer and then finally the muscle exercises, mainly targeting abdominal muscles and biceps. So far I felt that endurance running is better than doing resistance running. Because I can't feel the soreness on my calves during running so it makes it easier for me to continue running and slowly increasing the speed on the treadmill. And endurance running has made it easier for me to want to continue going back to gym the next day. So it's kind of like a motivation for me. Hopefully I'll get rid of the extra fats all over my body soon. And I'm giving myself 60 more days to end this fit challenge and see the results. Hopefully, I'll still get the time to gym during school, or I guess I'll just go down for a run whenever I am free. Cheers to another 60 more days of fitness challenge! I can and I will finish this! Day 12 to 16!

Finally back after a while! :)Actually I procrastinated for a few days so I didn't bothered to post a new entry about my fit challenge HAHAHA. But! I've started again, thankfully, and this time my motive is a little different from the start. I started my fit challenge for 2.4km run, training and shaping muscles and body. So I've been doing lots of cardio, sit-ups and training on my thighs. But because I procrastinated for like 3 days during this 5-day period, my stamina went all the way again, oops, and so I've decided to mainly focus on my calves, arms and overall body fats. So yesterday, which was day 15, I've started to do slow jogging intervals and today, day 16, was slow jogging as well. I decided to pause morning runs for the moment until the haze becomes better so my gym session everyday has been prolonged. In addition, I did 50 reps of sit-ups, 50 reps of different intensity for my arms and 30 reps of thighs workout. Quite a fulfilling day actually. I was on the verge of giving up on treadmill but still I tried my hardest to force myself to continue running. So I changed to a lower speed and did endurance running instead, which I greatly enjoyed! I actually completed 6.8km in total today, approximately 6km of running and 800m of walking in 65 minutes; 5 minutes was cool down so the 800m was basically cool down. And another thing I'm trying hard to do right now is eating clean, which is honestly very hard. Because my mum always top up the tidbits at home, and they are like my favourite ones so it's super hard to resist them omg. And if I start eating, I basically have no control over how much I eat, so it's disastrous. So what I'm doing now to resist the temptation to eat tidbits is to be and feel full. It basically means eating meals on time but of course, not too full. The best would be if there's plenty of fruits! And of course, filling myself up with lots of water! And oh, the best part of today: SAUNA! Sauna is the best thing ever. (Y) Day 11!

I'm feeling SOOOOOOOO good today! So in the morning, I forced myself to go for my morning run, 2.4km in 17.18 minutes and 50 reps of sit-ups as usual. In the afternoon, I went to buy a new swim suit for myself and then off to ShiLing's house for gym! 1 hour and burned off 500++ calories, then 30 minutes of jacuzzi and another 30 minutes of sauna in my new swim suit! Here comes why I'm feeling so good today: the jacuzzi and sauna! Like omg, they feel so AWESOME. My aches are gone and I'm feeling soooooo energetic right now. I'm already addicted to the sauna HAHAHA. I can't wait for the next sauna session omg :D |
