Hey peeps! Aren't you people glad that I am updating so much during this holiday? HEHESo today, well actually, yesterday, I finally got Curel's sample for their intensive moisture facial products! The package at first sight was good. It's a envelope with plastic bubble wrap lined in the inside of the envelope, for safety purposes I suppose, which is really nice and detailed. It even has a small, thin booklet which teaches about sensitive skin problems! A tip for persistent sensitive skin problems: Get facial products with Ceramide ingredient; it protects our skin from dryness. :) So, in the sample package, they gave me a Makeup Cleansing Gel, Moisture Lotion II, Moisture Face Milk and Moisture Eye Zone Essence. First of all, packaging. I tend to give in a lot to packaging. So at first sight, their sample packaging looks quite good, in small bottles, unlike samples that are in plastic bags which are so inconvenient for usage. The Moisture Lotion II is a clear water-substance. It feels light-weight when I poured it into my palm and onto my face. But I think I poured too much so it feels sticky after a while. The Moisture Face Milk is quite light-weighted too and is meant to be applied after the Lotion. But the after-effect is that I feel my skin being too sticky. I dislike stickiness on my face because it feels as though my face is like a suction platform, just ughh. I sprayed on Avene's Spring Water after 15 minutes after the application of the samples and felt a bit better. The Moisture Eye Zone Essence is a translucent gel-like substance. Not much of any special feelings such as feeling my eye contour areas feeling cooling. I just feel stickiness all over my face.. OTL Next is to see if my sensitive skin will react to the product or not. Sensitive skin is just troublesome. I would say that so far my skin reacts well to Za's products and Avene's products. I prefer Za more because their products blend in well with my skin, have a nice smell, nice packaging and their cream products won't even feel sticky. My love~~ Avene's sun screen lotion for the face would be more sticky as the SPF goes higher and takes a longer time for absorption. I only use their SPF 50 facial cream when I'm at the beach and don't feel like clogging my pores with sunscreen lotion for body. And a quick reminder: Get to know your skin type before buying the products! |
