Yes! I finally finally finally!!! Tried contact lenses for the first time!! /clap hands/ I know it's no big deal for those who wear contacts lenses frequently BUT! It's still a big deal for me, since it's my first time wearing it after all. BDAnd so! I journeyed down to Chua Chu Kang, Lot 1 shopping mall to meet with Kaiwen first, and then we went to look for Capitol Optical! And I was served by Melissa and another optician. The results of my eye examination turned out well; my eyes are generally healthy and perfect eyesight! Next came the important part: Wearing of lenses! [I chose Acuvue's Natural Beauty series: Vivid style] Well, for a first timer like me, I was quite nervous but the lenses were so soft that it keep sticking to my index and my optician keeps commenting about how soft it is! I really liked it when I successfully wore the lens. It felt as though I accomplished something, since I have keep talking about getting lenses for a few months already! Moving on, the Removing of lenses! I'm always terrified at how Kaiwen removes her lenses, because honestly, her nails are always sharp and her pinching seems as though scratching her eyeballs. Terrifying right?! Well, today, I finally learned the right way to remove my lenses without injuring my eyeballs and! I succeeded in a try! Ohohoho! I totally agree that removing is much easier than wearing! Because you have to check if the lenses are rightly flipped, as well as to check if there are any chips, tears and dust! In addition, because the lenses are so soft, the whole of it keeps sticking to my index, so it takes time to flip it into the bowl-shape. But overall, the service is awesome and my opticians are very patient with me, so I love the experience! Also, they gave me one free, extra trial contact lenses! it was supposed to be only 3, but I got 4 instead! Who doesn't love freebies??!!!!! xD And anyways, I love the lenses so I'm definitely going back to buy more! BD Pictures!
