Hey people! As promised, I'm back to tell you what I did yesterday!I went out with Weiting and Shiling to Jurong East swimming complex! It was supposed to be a clique's gathering with Jingwen and Kaiwen but one was grounded and the other wasn't feeling well. Well, the three of us still had fun~ We bought a few mini hotdog buns and mini donuts for lunch and made our way to the swimming complex. With the help of technology, we can just enter with a tap of our ez-links. Though Weiting's card couldn't be detected by the machine so she had no choice but to purchase the ticket, of which she bought a children ticket. >.> So, we went to change and put our stuffs in the locker before moving to rent a float for myself since I don't know how to swim. OTL Went to collect the big yellow float and our first stop: Lazy River! :3 Why is it lazy? Because! The river already has a current flowing one direction so you don't have to use much of your energy to actually swim in it! Most people would sit on the float and just let the current move the float. Lazy huh? :P We went for about 4 to 5 rounds before Weiting was very tempted by the slides. She and Shiling went for the yellow; shortest slide. The shortest slide doesn't need a float since it's not very tall, unlike the purple and blue slides. After which we went to the Wave pool! As the name suggests, there are actually waves created during specific timings and after a while, the waves started and there was water spraying out from the man-made mountains! We stayed around 1.1 to 1.3m of the pool. The waves get bigger with time and the water that was being sprayed was cold, and slightly salty, I don't know why. The waves kinda lasted about 30 minutes? We stayed for a while after the waves stopped and the two of them went to the competition pool to swim while I went to the Jacuzzi pool to relax. We left shortly after Weiting played the blue and yellow slides to bath and leave for JCube. We laughed at Shiling's tan line on her thighs since it was very obvious. The thing is, we agreed to have another outing to the complex with Kaiwen and Jingwen during April, so it means more tanning! :P We walked and shopped around in JCube, had lunch and at about 5pm, we were planning to go home until we came across a shop named Vardi & Migdal. The shop keeper, Isa; I have no idea how to spell her name correctly, was very polite and helpful to us. She introduced to us about their nail product, the buffer and the cuticle oil and stated that their materials are from the Dead Sea and are full of nutrients and minerals. She use the buffer on my thumb nail and oh my god. The difference! The difference of before and after is so great that all three of us were shocked. Before (left thumb): After (right thumb): You can actually see a strong light reflection on my right thumb nail and it's glossy, as compared to my left thumb nail, it looks rough and just a weak light reflection! It looks as though I applied the transparent nail polish but no! I only made use of the buffer and the cuticle oil! This is the buffer: There's actually 4 sides to it; 2 black, 1 grey and 1 white. The order goes from darkest to lightest. All of them contain nutrients and minerals of the dead sea as stated above and they are very effective! Just three simple steps to healthy and glossy nails: 1. Rub your nail with the black buffer for 5 seconds. 2. Switch to grey buffer and rub for 5 seconds as well. 3. Lastly, the white buffer and rub for 5 seconds. Tadah! 15 seconds and you get one nail done! The white buffer has actually silk in it to get the oil underneath your nail to appear, that's why the nails seem glossy. The grey buffer circulates the blood and the black buffer erases the dried cuticles. The Cuticle Oil: Cuticle oil moisture your dried cuticles and improves your nail condition by keeping it hydrated and strong! The buffer costs S$30 and the cuticle oil costs $20! The buffer may sound expensive but! Here's the deal, once your buffer gets dirty, you can just bring it to ANY of their stores and exchange it for a new one for a LIFE TIME! They know their products so you don't even have to present your receipt to them for exchange. Isn't it much more worth then going for a pedicure and manicure regularly? Or if, you think that individually, the items are slightly expensive, they have a full nail kit consisting of the buffer, nail file, cuticle oil, and a hand and body cream that costs S$70 in total! The sales people also have great attitudes and services towards their customers! I had a great time with her! *thumbs up* So! Hurry and head down to their stores or to their website for more details on their dead sea products! :D |
